HIFU and microneedling are often mentioned in the same breath, but they work at a different depth and solve a different problem. In short: HIFU lifts, microneedling renews. Which one suits you depends on what you see when you look in the mirror.
HIFU 25D — lifting without surgery
HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) sends focused ultrasound energy to the deep skin layers where collagen sits — the same layer a surgeon targets in a face lift, but without cutting. The skin contracts and builds new collagen in the weeks that follow.
- For: sagging of face, jawline and neck; softer contours; early wrinkles
- Result: develops gradually over 4–12 weeks, natural and scar-free

Microneedling — skin renewal from the top
Microneedling creates micro-channels in the skin with ultra-fine needles. That triggers repair: collagen and elastin increase, texture evens out and serums penetrate deeper.
- For: acne scars, coarse pores, fine lines, uneven texture, dull skin
- Result: visible after the first session, best after a course
- Downtime: 1–2 days of mild redness
- Frequency: 3–6 sessions, every 4–6 weeks
- Price: €130 per 60-minute session
How to choose
- "My face is sagging, my jawline is less defined" → HIFU
- "My skin is uneven, with small scars or coarse pores" → microneedling
- "My skin is dull, dry and lacks glow" → mesotherapy (€199) or the Oxygeno + mesotherapy combination (€250)
- "Honestly, both" → that works: a microneedling course for texture first, then HIFU for the lift — or the other way round, a few weeks apart. We plan this together at the intake.
From what age?
Microneedling is for any age with texture concerns — including people in their twenties with acne scars. HIFU has the most effect on skin that is starting to sag, usually from the mid-thirties; younger it is mainly preventive.
